Blue Race Company is a recording company that helps the youth both in the music and film industries to improve their talent. The company is located in Boston. The work of the company is to offer auditions for music and theatre to the youth. The company then selects from the performances. Those who perform according to the expectations of the company are sponsored to the institution where they are given further training on how to perform, how to behave on stage, how to become better script writers, how to deal with their fans, dressing code, best practice when in these fields, etc. The main aim of this company is to help the youth engaging in drugs and other immoral activities realize their talents and guide them on improving their future rather than wasting it by being irresponsible.

Subject: Partnering with Sundance Institution

Mission: The mission of this company is to improve the livelihoods of the youth by giving them hope for their future through their talents in music and theatre. Comment by john: WHAT IS THIS WHAT COMPANY?

Goal: The main goal is to offer the youth a platform where they can realize their dreams and shun drugs and other irresponsible behaviors. The company aims at training the youth to ensure that even though their dreams to be artists are not fulfilled, they can become a good example to other youths in the community.

Objectives: The objective of the company is to conduct as many auditions as possible around the cities. The company also aims at using the same youth in the institution to reach the rest in the community. This can be done through performances and dramas made available to the youth at the auditions.

Dear Frank,

Sundance Institute could be our best option for a philanthropic partnership putting in mind that the founder of the institution also shares our main goals and objectives. Sundance institute discovers and develops audiences and artists that have no sponsors. The institute’s aim is to discover those who are talented, support and inspire them to become independent artists in theatre and film industries.

Why Choose Sundance Institute?

The goals of Sundance Institute are well set to ensure that the institute supports and gives training to the artists whether youth or adults and ensure that their talents do not go down the drain. The institute focuses on supporting talent around the world and more specifically in cities around United States.

The most affected people in the community are the youth. They engage in immoral behaviors due to peer pressure and some due to frustrations in life. Joining hands with such a charity institution would help in guiding our youth for them to become more focused.

Reliability of Sundance Institute

Sundance Institute gets most of its finances from gifts and grants. Very little amounts come from the government and fundraisings. Putting in mind that our institution mainly focuses on the development of youth talent, it is easy to conduct walks and performances to collect more revenue (Berkeley, 2008). Through these, we can also search for well wishers to joins us in the venture to ‘save our youths’.

Annual Revenue Collections from

Contributions, grants & gifts

$ 12, 112, 569

Fundraising Events

$ 718, 700

Government Grants

$ 1,738,726

If we partner with Sundance Institute, we can help through fundraising events at walks, dramas and performances by the already trained artists. These walks can be conducted around the cities. At the same time, when conducting these walks and performances, new talent will also be discovered in the events by offering the youth an opportunity to showcase their talent.

Fundraisings Comment by john: IS THIS HOW YOU PROPOSE HELPING

To join in the walks for charity, members would have to contribute $30 to the Sundance Institute where they will receive T-shirts and raffle tickets for the walk. After the walk there would be performances by the youths together with other celebrities who support charity work across the world. After the performances there would be a draw to announce the winner from the raffle tickets.

The winners of the event can be offered free training and membership to the Sundance Institute. They will be trained on topics connected to the dangers of drug and alcohol abuse. The trainings can be offered to them three times a week for one month. Those who excel in their studies may be offered job opportunities in the future.

The youth who collect more funds during the walk will also be offered incentives. The institute can purchase clothes to be offered to those who attain a specified mark during the fundraising. Others will be offered free memberships and training.

Benefits to our Company

By being the hosts of this event, the company will increase the number of youths that would be glad to move from the streets and stop being irresponsible. When the youth listen to testimonies from their age mates, they would gladly change for the better. This is our main focus, to ‘save the youth’.

The employees at our company are glad and willing to assist in this endeavor. This will also give them the challenge of dealing with more youth and at the same time they will offer more of their time to the success of this program (Penna, 2011).

The instructors will feel more motivated knowing that they are reaching and saving lots of youth from irresponsible behaviors. They are very happy when youth leave the institute to continue with their careers and serve as role models to the rest of the youth.

The image of the company will be improved and more people would like to get associated with the company due to its venture. When lives of the youth are improved, it is obvious that the streets and the society would be a safe place to live in. When the youth engage in drugs their lives change for the worst. They take place in criminal activities and people living in these neighborhoods have problems living around them. People who witness our venture would gladly be eager to support it since more youth would become more occupied and focused with their future.

By partnering with Sundance Institute, we showcase our passion to help the youth display their talent and use it to develop and inspire others.
