““...It is a proud privilege to be a soldier – a good soldier … [with] discipline, self-respect, pride in his unit and his country, a high sense of duty and obligation to comrades and to his superiors, and a self-confidence born of demonstrated ability.” The words of sir George S. Patton Jr. highlights the importance of being in army through his words.

Being in Army is very responsible and very important duty. Being in Army not only trains you to be a brave martyr for the country and to serve the country it also trains you to be a responsible and dutiful person. Being in army makes the individual very responsible and dutiful and he starts respecting the time.

“A lot has been said about the deep bond soldiers share with each other. The kind of camaraderie one sees in the armed forces is something we all should try to emulate in our lives”, (Suparn, (2014), “Lesson to be learned from Armed Forces in Life”). Being an army teaches how to develop and maintain friendship with people from different religion and caste.

It is very important that one needs to be on time to formation and anything else that they are required or rather scheduled to do on a particular day because if someone is not on time then he misses a brief or meeting and it would they could miss very important information, every mission has the starting point and so being on time makes the person very dutiful being on army makes the person respect the time and the person who respects the time becomes very active. Being in Army makes the Communication skills sharpened up.

The Communication skills are refined on being in army because people who are in army are very sensible and they need to have a command over their language as well as tone. Communication skills are given importance for handling the discussions with the delegates and other important people.

The communication skills are developed on being in army by communicating effectively with the cadets, seniors and colleagues as one has to work as a team. Various qualities are developed on being in army such as leadership skills and motivating the people.

Being in army requires leadership skills as one has to move ahead with a team to achieve the target and goals that are saved. The person needs to motivate his team members so that they can achieve their goals.

Makes the person a responsible Army soldier and hence they becomes patriotic towards their motherland and hence it becomes their duty to serve their country and the citizen of their country. So, for being more responsible and dutiful the person in army needs to be in skilled in leadership, discipline and respect the time and by doing this the person have to show full dedication to being a Soldier. Being in army provides an opportunity for the personal growth as because one has to give time to physical exercise and training and hence one has to push his and her body towards physical and mental health. Being in army makes the person strong both physically and mentally. Moreover, being in army makes the soldier reliable and upstanding. Being on army makes the person to give priority to time and hence being late is unacceptable in the army. Thus we can conclude that being in army is very respectful and responsible job and it requires the person to motivate his team members to achieve the goals and it also requires the person to be very active and enthusiastic in nature. It is a matter of great pride to serve the nation and to be responsible and dutiful for the millions of lives of a nation by being in army.
