Apple Inc. is an international electronic company that headquarted in the United States, California. It was founded in 1976, and it was founded by Wayne Ronald, Steve Jobs and Steve Wozniak (Gillam, 2012). Apple Inc. is one of the main electronic companies that changed the communication industry in the recent years. Currently, the way of communication is easier, and more effective when comparing to the ancient time where people on old, and ineffective methods of communication. The company manufactures many electronics such as computers, and smartphones among other products. Some of its popular products among consumer are its IPods, tablets, and smartphones (O'Grady, 2009). Because Apple has a wide variety consumer electronics, it keeps designing new devices, and applications to enhance its products qualification, and to avoid being outdated among the new arrivals in the industry. This trends explain the continue of its popularity in the international market when comparing to the other companies that offer similar products, and services. Therefore, it is a fact that Apple Inc. has changed the existing view of smart phones.

Apple inc’s entry into the communication industry has changed the face of the smartphones because its smartphone is smart. For example, its smartphone provides fast, efficient, and reliable service to the consumer. Also, it is ideal for chain of uses such as, communication via calls, short messages, video calls, and emails. It is critical to note that the smartphone is the latest innovation in the communication section. However, it is blame for the fall of demand of personal computers because it is known that Apple Inc’s smartphone has most of the applications that found in the personal computer. Therefore, they do not need one once they have a smartphone.

Modern day smartphones are Internet enabled devices that allow the users to navigate through the websites at anytime, so they can access the Internet regardless of their location. The smartphone is small, and portable as compared to a computer. Therefore, anyone can carry around, and do a chain of operation by using the application at touch of a button. It is helpful especially in area where the Internet access is difficult due to the infrastructure problems.

In 2010, Apple Inc. lunched its iPhone 4 that gained popularity over others in the consumer market because of its different application catalog. Also, it was a modern device that completed with a video call facility. Because of its acceptance among the public, Apple pulled up it sales volume to beat Microsoft Corporation. Apple’s smartphone made it one of the biggest corporations in the market considering its market share. Moreover, it expanded in other nations to enhance the distribution of its products in other regions. Its smartphone has increased people’s activities on social media sites. For example, people may share information in social media sites such us Twitter, and Facebook while at workplace, home, or walking. Also, they may send and receive emails without having to go to a cybercafé because of the default browser that is powerful enough to display web pages that people would previously have to check in a personal computer.

The latest devices from Apple Inc. have many custom applications that the users can perform many tasks using the device. For example, they can pay bills online, book reservations, and shop in online stores such as eBay, and Amazon. Because of its modern state of art design, it makes it perfect for Internet use as it reduces the prevalence of spam, and virus attacks. The smartphone change the way that people communicate by using computers because it provides a touch screen to serve as keyboard and screen, and it provides all these services easy and much efficiency as compared to ancient communication devices. Also, it keeps the user’s data privet because not many people share their smartphone. Not only people can use Apple’s smartphone to brows the Internet or communications, but also, they can use it for their educations. Students can easily receive note and submit their assignments through their smartphone by using email-messaging system. For example, they can use some of the application such as, MS Word that allows them to use just like the word application in a personal computer. Apple Inc’s smartphones have restructured the smartphone market, and made Apple one of the popular smartphone companies in the world today. It is not only popular in the first world countries, but also, it is popular in the third world countries.

Apple Inc’s smartphones, especially IPhone 6 and IPhone 6 plus help users to make payment without making them to have their credit card with them by using the payment system. Apple Inc’s smartphones have become popular in the consumer market in countries such as, France, Japan, China, Australia, and United Kingdom among others. The IPhone 6 and IPhone 6 plus became famous for their high sales volume. According to Rule (2014) “Apple Inc’s iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus topped 4 million in record pre-orders in the first 24 hours, as the early demand for the Smartphones outstrips supply” (n. p).

Apple Inc.’s smartphone had a kid safe app to block underage children from accessing parts of websites that may not be appreciate for their age and educational level. Although the App did not succeed as anticipated, it spells Apple’s potential and regular innovation capacity (Carlton, 1997). The company works on joining music companies to authorize its iTunes download app. It is better off when compared to the other services because iTunes has a flat rate as opposed to other applications where one has to pay recurring subscription charges.

Apple Inc. employs one of the best modern day business strategies because it ensures that most of its products are unique and a factor that makes it competitive throughout the year. Additionally, it carries out a market survey to detect any lack that may exist and fix it before things run out of hand. According to Mallin and Finkle (2011) “continual investment in research and development is believed to be the key to capitalizing the convergence of consumer electronics in the mobile communications market” (66).

Apple Inc. is one of the modern companies with the latest business models since it has been able to cope with competition and remain at large in the commercial market. The company has invested in cohesive management and result-oriented strategies. Therefore, the management considers a product or service carefully before launching it to the consumer market. Its operation in the smartphone industry was one the biggest innovation that Apple Inc. made in the twenty-first century. Apple Inc. engages in aggressive product promotion campaigns to keep customers updated on the new trends in the market, and its services and products have particularly touched educationalist and students, especially through its Internet offers. Moreover, corporate entities and other professionals admit that the company’s tools have restructured the computing industry through provision of computer software and computing systems. The company pays attention to the customer as the main business component (Sahoo, 2012). Therefore, it ensures that they are satisfied with the products and services through the provision of quality products and timely services that meet the set standards.
