McKnight, Peter. "Judge Starts Debate on Canada's Doctor-Assisted Suicide Ban." The Vancouver SunJun 16 2012. ProQuest.Web. 6 Nov. 2014. The article presents the view of a judge on the issue of Doctor’s Assisted Suicide in Canada. The judge critically analyzes the reasons that have been cited to justify a ban on Doctor-Assisted Suicide. The reason is that the ban helps in protecting patients who are physical incapacitated and lack the cognitive ability to make decisions for themselves. It protects from family pressure and pain. However, the prohibition interferes with the individual rights of patients who feel that a Doctor Assisted Suicide would be helpful to them. Therefore, it is necessary to revisit the risks that led to the ban of the Doctor-Assisted suicide. The revisit of these risks might lead to the collapse of the ban after a series of court battles; the article will help in developing an active stand on the ethical issues related to Doctor-Assisted Ban.

Robinson, Svend J. "Doctor-Assisted Suicide." The Globe and Mail: 0. Apr 17 1996. ProQuest. Web. 6 Nov. 2014. The article gives the touching story of a Doctor-Assisted Suicide. It outlines the benefits of Doctor-Assisted and gives reasons why the law should stop the ban. Svend Robinson is the Canadian Member of Parliament who ignited controversy when he required the law to be changed. He wanted the removal of the doctor-assisted ban. The article will be necessary for development views against or for doctor-assisted suicide. It presents both views with convincing arguments, which can help in developing additional reasons for or against doctor-assisted suicide.

Bracher, Mark. "Doctor-Assisted Suicide: Psychoanalysis of Mass Anxiety." The Psychoanalytic Review, 82.5 (1995): 655-668.

The study examines the psychoanalytic interpretations based on the controversy of Doctor-Assisted Suicide. The article borrows the main ideas from J. Lacan. It presents three fundamental sources of suicide, which are the sources of anxiety in a plan developed by J. Kevorkian. Doctor Assisted Suicide opponents view its acceptance as a deficiency that should not be allowed. The subject is not protected in any way. Some of the factors that make subjects crave for termination are fear, which comes out in the desire to donate organs for research after the death.
