Opposite Gender
Men and women have different brain architecture, as well as dissimilar environmental influences, including nurturing. Thus, there is a cultural divide in terms of behavior, attitude and mental models that creates the gap between the two genders. For that reason, I am requesting that you change gender position (figuratively) to have a greater appreciation of the opposite gender's reactions. Therefore, you have to for this learning experience change positions and write literately from the perspective of the other gender about gender differences, which may also include guy and lesbian concerns students may have. This assignment must be undertaken from a unbiased position or help you to arrive at an unbiased opinion to be sociologically appropriate.
You can select any social issue that divides the genders (including the guy and lesbian community) to explain your position in paragraph style. You are expected to use sociological perspectives, terms and concepts, including a sociologist or two (can be replaced with research data) as part of your explanation. If I had to make a suggestion to help, you might want to pick an issue that you have personally experienced with a friend, or family member, or community without using anyone’s real name or identifying characteristics that may be used to identify any individual knowingly to protect that individual from any undo harm or embarrassment.
