Module 7 DQ 1

Considering your dissertation research interests, identify one continuous variable (Y) to be what you are trying to predict. Then identify three other continuous variables that you would want to evaluate as predictors of Y. State the null and alternative hypotheses based on this design (with a planned analysis using a multiple regression analysis). (Research support is not required for this question.)

Considering my dissertation research interests breaking free of traditional career paths can result in greater job satisfaction an opportunity beyond expectations.

Response Variable: Test Performance

Predictor Variables: Age, Hours spent in classrooms per week, Hours spent in workplace per week

Our aim is to predict the Test Performance (Y) of students by evaluating the response variables Age (X1), Hours spent in classrooms per week (X2) and Hours spent in workplace per week (X3) using multiple regression analysis.

Null Hypothesis

Alternate Hypothesis

High-skill, high-paying career opportunities abound in Non-Traditional Occupations. Non-Traditional is used to describe a job career path that typically has predominated by one gender. Young people are encouraged and are likely to choose a career because of aptitudes and interests now, more than ever before in workforce. Occupational challenges are not as gender-specific, as they are specific to the scope of the work.
