Date last saved: Oct-20 2011
Decision Factors Status Quo (2010) Woothemes 'Canvas' Studiopress 'Genesis' Thesis 1.8 Headway 2.0 Which Wordpress Theme do I buy? Thesis has been a favorite of many big name bloggers due to its inherent SEO-goodness and flexibility, but Headway's advantages to someone starting out are very alluring. With Headway there is little or no coding required to achieve significant layout changes, whereas in Thesis anything beyond the simplest change seems to require coding. Although both communities are vibrant, it appears that Headway's appeal is to the blogger who doesn't want to spend hours coding a site or pay a designer/developer to do that. u Winner: Headway 2.0
