Design a D4P Tabletop Game
Project Objectives:
For this particular project, you are requested to design a D4P Tabletop Game. A “[t]abletop game is a general term used
to refer to board games, card games, dice games, miniatures wargames, tile-based games, and other games that are
normally played on a table or other flat surface” (Wikipedia). Your game will educate a particular audience about 1 of
the 4 “pillars” of the Design4Practice program: 1) engineering design, 2) communication, 3) teamwork, and 4)
professionalism. In order to successfully create your game, you must have a deep understanding of the particular pillar
selected as well as the target audience. You may refer to content from the course, but you should also perform
additional research from credible sources (include citations).

execute the design process.
Guidelines:
1. Search Wikipedia for tabletop games (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tabletop_game). Read the entry, and follow links
about types of tabletop games that interest you.
2. Research the selected D4P pillar (engineering design, communication, teamwork, professionalism) for content
(knowledge, skills, and/or tools) to integrate into your tabletop game.
3. Do NOT infringe on copyright (you must design your own board, tokens/characters, etc. – you may substitute items
from other games, as long as you show your original ideas of what is being replaced).
4. Your game MUST include instructions.
5. No one is required to spend any money, but if you do, you may not spend more than $20.
