(Enter the specifications of the three computers examined in the table below. Place an “X” at the bottom of the column of the model that you would recommend. Place any additional characteristics that you think are important in the empty row.) Be sure that the applications you suggest will work on the recommended model. Recommendation (X)

Explain why you chose the hardware and software you recommended.

I think that they can chose the hardware and software depend on the current conditions, and we selected scenario 4. Scenario 4 express that the family bought the hardware and software for their children. Children can use the hardware to play games and study. However, the hardware that we selected are cheaper than specialty hardware, and the hardware can operate general softwares. The software that we selected are common study software and antivirus software. Children can use Adobe Reader to read books and reports and antivirus software can protect the hardware when children play games online. For the HP computer, it has 4GB memory; it is enough for their use. For the family, and for children, they often need to watch some video online, 4 people together to watch 17.3-inch monitor is better than other small monitor. In the future, they want add a printer, in my opinion the same brand printer(HP) would be a good choice, and nowadays the children do not need very professional office software to study, so the office 2013 could be buy it in the future.

Budget (Depending upon the scenario and the amount of money available, you may not have enough money to purchase all of the items now. Recommend the items that need to be purchased now and then the items that will have to wait until later to be purchased. Indicate this information in the table below and provide a total for the items to be purchased now as well as later.)

How did you determine what should be purchased now instead of later?

According to scenario 4, a family have to buy a HP computer for two children in elementary (girl in 3rd and a boy in 4th). At first, the computer have Adobe Reader for reading and antivirus for playing games. After two children in middle school, the family can buy office home and students for children to write reports. And for this family, they could buy a HP printer in the further, same brand with their computer.
