The paper will be a 4 to 5 page. Topic should be an argument. You are going to choose the topic. Before you start to paper just tell me the topic. Here are the instructions. Professor wants paper like this I want you to read it and do the work according to that.

Your final paper must be a research paper. The objective of your research paper is to demonstrate your ability to apply what you have learned to the creation of an academic argument. Your research paper should include the following.

1. An issue or problem that you have thought about and have formed an opinion or taken a position on the issue or problem. I recommend that you pick your issue from an article in a current newspaper or magazine. Describe your issue or problem, in detail. Make sure you discuss who or what your issue affects and why you think it is an important issue or problem.

2. State your position on your issue or problem.

2.a. Identify one to two underlying assumptions you think you hold that supports your our opinion or position on your issue.

2.b Identify any personal biases that you think may contribute to your opinion or position on the issue or problem.

2.c. Identify at least two inferences that you think can be drawn from your opinion or position.

3. Describe at least one major counter argument to your opinion or position on the issue or problem.

3.a. Identify one to two underlying assumptions you think you hold that supports the counter argument to your opinion or position on the issue or problem.

3.b. Identify at least two inferences that you think can be drawn from the counter argument’s opinion or position on your issue or problem.

4. Identify at least two research articles that you think supports your opinion or position on the issue or problem.

4.a. Summarize the main findings of each article you use. Make sure you state whether or not your think the evidence presented in the articles was valid and reliable.

4.b. Evaluate the source of each article and state why you think the source is reliable and can be accepted has providing valid evidence and/or conclusions about your issue or problem.

6. Write a conclusion section that includes the following.

6.a Describe the degree to which your research effected or changed your original opinion or position on your issue or problem. You should discuss the degree to which you think you found evidence that supported or did not support your original position. If you found what you think is strong evidence that supports your position, describe why you think the evidence presented in articles that support the counter argument should not be accepted as valid or reliable. Provide examples from those articles to support your response.

6.b. Describe the type of reasoning you used, inductive or deductive, when your reassessed your original opinion or position on the issue or problem after reading your pro and con research articles.

6.c. Describe what additional evidence or research you think is needed to help people to reach a consensus on your issue or problem.

Finally, make sure you include the necessary inline citations for the research evidence you use and to include a references section that includes the full reference for each of the citations you use at the end of your paper. Your inline citations and full references should use the APA style.
