· This is an educative and informative resource that gives an account of the various types of drugs that some Detroit residents use and their health, psychological and social effects. The author gives a clear account of how drugs such as cocaine and heroin affect the body and discourages drug use throughout the book.

· The above figure Shows a cannabis sativa (Marijuana) plant growing in a secluded place. This image helps us understand how people in our towns are propagating drug use and abuse without worry of affecting others. It shows that it is important to ban rather than legalize or leave unwatched; all illegal drugs.
