RE: Go ahead to pursue environmental conservation plan
I have realized that there have been environmental issues arising in the communities outside the company. The local companies, which employ many people in, the community has been engaging in bad environmental practices. This is bad news and it is our obligation as a company to champion environmental protection and conservation as well as leading as an example in conservation of the environment. The company has also been accused of hypocrisy in that it leads in community relations by advocating environmental conservation yet the employees of our company contribute to environmental pollution by using cars, which emit bad gases to the environment.
I have come up with a plan, which will help in protecting the company against the hypocrisy charges as well as promote environmental conservation. I have discovered that there are hybrid cars, which do not pollute the environment. If the company can replace the vans it has with the hybrid cars, this can be a great move in advocating environmental conservation. The company also should encourage the employees to consider purchasing these hybrid cars. The company can assist the employees to purchase the hybrid cars by offering them substantial rebates. Since the company will purchase the hybrid cars in wholesale, it will benefit from good discounts.
The hypocrisy charges placed against the company have seen us lose sales. This plan will go a long way in protecting the company’s name thus winning more customers. Obviously, this will translate to more sales. All I request from you is your approval regarding this plan. Upon your approval on this plan, I will implement it immediately. I will also provide you with a progress report, which includes a full budget for the plan.
