Provide a brief description of your topic and the thesis you chose in the opening paragraph of your paper. This topic should be the thesis that you worked on in Week One and refined in Week Three. Remember that your first paragraph must contain a clear thesis statement as in the assignments from Weeks One and Three. Complete your paper by identifying which ethical theory you think provides the most satisfactory moral answer to your question, or the theory that provides the least satisfactory answer to your question. You should create a list of strengths and weaknesses for each of the theories as applied to your question to assist you with this task. However, you should not merely present the strengths and weaknesses of each theory but must argue that one theory is better or worse than the others in this case. Remember that each paragraph in your body must begin with a topic sentence that clearly identifies the main idea of the paragraph. Your paper should be 1500 to 2000 words (not including the words on the title and reference pages) in length. This means that you should devote approximately 300 words to each of the ethical theories, and 300 words to supporting your argument for which theory works best or worst.

1. Must be 1500 to 2000 words in length (excluding title and reference pages), and formatted according to APA style as outlined in the Ashford Writing Center.

2. Must include a title page with the following:

a. Title of paper

b. Student’s name

c. Course name and number

d. Instructor’s name

e. Date submitted

3. Must begin with an introductory paragraph that has a succinct thesis statement.

4. Must address the topic of the paper with critical thought.

5. Must end with a conclusion that reaffirms your thesis.

6. Must use at least two required readings or media, and two recommended readings or media from any week of the course.

7. Must document all sources in APA style, as outlined in the Ashford Writing Center.

8. Must include a separate reference page, formatted according to APA style as outlined in the Ashford Writing Center.

This paper needs to be edited and meet the criteria above. Must be own work, need references and in text citation. Please do not post this paper online. Email it to me @homeworkmarket….. I will not purchase if it is posted online.

Several years ago the late great Michael Jackson filmed a movie titled “This Is It. This movie was being filmed before; Michael Jackson was killed by Dr. Conrad Murray. Many people speculate that it was assisted suicide, but we will honestly never know the truth. Let’s just say that it was “assisted suicide”. Was Michael Jackson wrong for being responsible for his death or did he have the right to do so. Although assisted suicide isn’t legal here in the United States, it is in other countries like Switzerland. By the year 2025, assisted suicide will be legal worldwide.

Does one have the right to end his/her life whenever they choose? Well, honestly, yes! From a biblical stand point is it the right thing to do, absolutely not. In the Bible it says that anyone that commits suicide will go to hell. Although, it is written people still commit suicide every day. I often ask myself, if God knows everything before it happens, then why he lets them happen. Upon further review, I’ve learned that although God knows everything that’s to come he lets us as humans have free will. Meaning to think and react on our own accord.

I don’t believe that we can set policies about whom and who cannot terminate his/her life. If there were policies, some people that want to terminate their lives may not be able to because they may not qualify. I don’t necessarily support assisted suicide, but I do feel as though if an individual wants to make that choice to do so that it shouldn’t be a policy hindering them. If a person becomes terminally ill and is able to dictate what they want such as the man in the video they should be able to do so.

There is a debate about what is worse, letting one die on their own, or actively assisting. In my opinion, allowing someone to die is no different than assisting. No one is greater than the next. At the end it’s the same result, death. I personally do not agree with letting someone suffer until the end, but then again I don’t agree with anyone assisting. I’m literally torn, that’s why I say that no one thing is greater than the next. I guess it all depends on the situation.
