The additional information this book offers is the fact how thought Jay Z life via Hip Hop positive , he inspired, motivated and empowered others such as Kanye West, and many others who also grew up in poor depressed areas in America

Purpose: the book, contents and preface clear speaks about the struggles Jay Z endure living in a depressed area in America, but how Hip Hop was his way out of the struggles and made him who he became today, which clearly line up with our thesis statement about the positive influence of hip hop pn pur youths

Scope: The scope of this book is indicated by its title: Jay Z THE Biography OF A HIP HOP ICON. A Hip Hop icon, clearly showing how Hip Hop motivated, inspired and positively influence Jay Z into becoming a icon through Hip Hop and biography which speaks about his life journey into becoming a Hip Hop icon from start to end. The word Icon also shows how he through Hip Hop have became a inspiration and motivation for others, which includes youth in depressed areas in America.

Currency: This book clearly shows the relevant and current events to back up our thesis statement. When it was published was also clearly outlined
