2. Select the most appropriate method to display the data and insert that graph ot table into this sheet.
3. Calculate the variance between the 2 units.
Tip
To obtain Summary Statistics:
1. On the Tools menu, select Data Analysis.
2. Select "Descriptive Statistics". Click "OK".
3. Highlight the range for Input data (Unit 1).
4. Highlight the range of cells where you want output to be shown.
5. Select "Summary Statistics". Click "OK".
6. Repeat the steps 1 through 5 for Unit 2.
To run each individual mean, median, and mode:
1. On the Insert menu, select Function.
2. Under Select a function, select AVERAGE. Click "OK".
3. Highlight data from Unit 1, Inpatient service days. Click "OK".
4. Repeat steps 1-3 for MEDIAN and MODE.
