1-Hour Writer

This week, you should have narrowed your options down to 3 topics. Remember that you will ultimately choose 1 topic for your research this semester. For this forum, take each of your three topics and do the following: Write a paragraph defining and describing the topic. Discuss the relevancy of the topic. In other words, why is the topic important now? Who is debating/discussing the topic? Why are you interested in this topic? What questions do you still have about this topic? ------------------------ For this forum, discuss your experience conducting research on your topic. What has been the most challenging part of the research process? What is the most interesting thing that you have learned so far about your topic? Although you may not have many articles or resources yet, describe one of your articles or resources and explain why you think it will be a good resource for your research. What questions do you still have about your topic? As you respond to your classmates, offer suggestions for places to find resources or things to think about as they research their topic.
