Having a baby for some can be a very simple process done by just enjoying the ability to procreate naturally, but as for others that have to go though the struggles of month after month of trying with no luck In vitro fertilization is one of the most clinically proven and safest ways to conceive a child. Medical technology has advanced so much to allow those that without this technology would have never had the opportunity to become parents. By taking several risk in to count; one being that the IVF not working or needing multiple cycles before it is successful, Two the cost to have the procedure one or more times, depending on the persons circumstances, and thirdly the short and long term effects that it may have on the mothers body. Still with the risked and all factors to be considered though the advancement in the IVF technology it makes possible for parents to fulfill their lifelong dream of having a baby.
Today infertility has become very common. 1 out 0f 6 couple will experience trying to conceive a child. In the past there were not many options for those couples. Most would adopt or keep trying with the hope of becoming pregnant. According to the European Journal of Obstetrics & Gynecology and Reproductive Biology Volume 170, Issue 2, October 2013, Pages 299–304 “the first successful IVF in humans in 1978, IVF has become a standard treatment for sub fertility. There have been remarkable achievements over the years in pregnancy success rates following IVF.” T
