School Your topic is a good one. The thesis needs work though; see comments in the paper. So does the planned organization: your plan for your essay does not prove the thesis (and it must). In the actual paper, remember you need at least three academic sources. (ABC news would not qualify.)
Specific comments are also inserted into the paper itself.

Introduction
The term obesity can be defined as a medical condition whereby the percentage of body fat of an individual is high as compared to his/her age, height, and weight. Well this epidemic is increasingly becoming a national issue in America because statistics shows that year-in-year-out the number of children and adults who are becoming obese are increasing. Indeed there is an urgent need for a considerable action to be taken by the government and all stakeholders in order for this monster to be eradicated in the entire American society. Although many conservatives oppose the Healthy, Hunger-Free Kids Act of 2010 which was signed by President Barack Obama, this can be seen as a step ahead when it comes to government dedication towards the fight against obesity. To this effect, I will argue my support for the Healthy Hunger-Free Kids Act as a way of kicking obesity out of America.
Conclusion
It is quite evident that, obesity more so among children and the entire youth in America is increasing thus this poses a threat to the future generation. There is need for parents, clinicians, and healthy professionals to ensure that young people engage in the necessary physical exercises in order to ensure that the entire population remains healthy. In addition to this, parents should ensure that they prepare the right diet to their kids as well as for the entire family in order to ensure that everyone in the family remains healthy. Lastly, there is need for the government to ensure that they come up with a number of legislations such as the Healthy Hunger-Free Kids Act of 2010 as a way of improving the entire healthy standards for the American society as well and the future generation in general.
