Rumors can be detrimental to a business if actions are not taking taken against the violators. The 132- year-old trademark, which is symbolized by the man in the moon and 13 stars characterizing the original colonies, is was the mark of Satanism and devil worship. Such pProtestors from the Christian community started boycotting some of Proctors well- known products. Comment by Rebecca Coleman: Of what? After uncertainty on how to actually deal with the rumors, Proctor decided to go legal with the false accusations that were made, by filing lawsuits against seven individuals. Proctor is The company took taking this matter very seriously, and has givengave it the attention it needed, as if it was were a new product hitting the shelves. In conclusion, the Proctor Procter & Gamble Company survived the rumors. By filing lawsuits and going head on with the accusers, they were found to be victorious. Although, there are quite a few accusers left, the damage control was an overall success. Comment by Rebecca Coleman: Who?
