In her essay "What's Love Got to Do With It?" Anjula Razdan explores how different cultures think about marriage. Her parents’ marriage was arranged. She desires western romantic ideas of love and freedom. Newer generations are using computers and the internet to find a mate. Write an essay in which you explore your own ideas about how love and marriage ought to work. Try to identify the sources of your ideas. Do they come from tradition, religion, modern culture, movies, stories, the internet, or some combination of these factors?

Readability, Style, and Format
-Spelling, syntax, word-usage or punctuation errors do not distract from readability.
-Uses a tone that is appropriate to the audience and to the writing task, and strives to have an original voice.
-Demonstrates strong command of language, and vocabulary is appropriate for college-level writing -Uses proper MLA format (including Times New Roman 12pt font, correct margins, and proper citations.
