At the R&D management meeting, the following list of potential “values” associated with

success was identified. The object is to have no more than 3–5 questions per value. The

values should be defined so there is no overlap. For each question, the management team

identified the following scoring system as the method it would like to use. Ten would be

the ideal to which it should aspire. One would be the lowest level of performance that

corresponds to (balances and further describes or defines) the ideal.
