Ethnicity in American Literature and Culture

For your final assignment of the course, you are asked to choose one of the key concepts that we have discussed this semester to consider through TWO texts – one that we have read/discussed in class, and one of your own choosing. The second text, the one you choose on your own, can be another novel/play, poetry, theory, a movie, a song, a tv show – as long as it relates in a meaningful way to the class text, and as long as it too deals with some aspect of ethnic literature in American.
