Writing (4 to 5 pages). Poor (16 pts) Please review the assignment grading rubric in the Strayer course guide. These are the errors in the order that I found them: Page. The page number must be in the upper right corner. Margin top. You must start writing on the first line of the page. Cite need. Every sentence with a definition, number, date, statement of fact, or quote must have a citation with a matching reference. Para need. A paragraph should only contain a few related sentences that pertain to one major concept or idea. Transitions. There must be transitions between sentences in a paragraph, so the sentences do not sound like bullets in paragraph form. Grammar. There are grammatical errors in your paper. You need to use spell-check and then proof-read your work to help find errors. Personal opinion. Write with conviction. You are the author, so if there is no citation in the sentence, then the reader knows it is your opinion. Ie. Do not write: I would target the baby boomers. Instead, write: Baby boomers are the best market segment to target. Company. A company is singular, so is an it (its). A single subject is never referred to as them, they, or their. Para. A paragraph must contain at least two sentences. Ref. The References must be on a separate page. Ref. The word References must not be in bold font. Ref alpha. The listing of references must be alphabetized. Ref bold font. There should not be any bold font in the references. Ref date. The reference date is written (year, month day). Ref not used. There are many references, however, not all were used as citations in the paper.
