Bank of America is the business the project will be done on.
The assignment is to seek out a local service provider (or, alternately, a “goods” business that has a heavy services component in its business) and develop a service blueprint. You may choose any business that you feel you can use to map out a blueprint; however, it should be for a specific company and not just a typical firm in the industry. You will be expected to construct a complete, detailed service blueprint report for the chosen service provider presented in a 4-6 page report using 12-size font, Times New Roman or Arial, double-spaced with once-inch or one and half inch margins. A cover page and a bibliography are required.
Requirements
Potential bottlenecks in the service delivery process should be identified on the blueprint.
2. Written Assignment : In addition to the actual blueprint, you will also write a report that addresses the following issues:
(1) A brief introduction about the company;
(2) Identify and describe two-three potential bottlenecks in the service delivery process;
(3) Suggest possible solutions/alternatives to address these (potential) problem areas;
(4) Discuss how a service blueprint might be used in each of the following areas in this organization: marketing, human resource management, and operations;
(5) Conclusion.
Blueprint would be placed at the end of report after the Bibliography as an Appendix.
