1) Your first level-heading should be: Units of Concentrations. Give definition, equation, and one example (it must be your own example) of how to calculate the following:
• Molarity
• Molality
• Mole fraction
• Normality
All formula weights must be expressed accurately to three decimal places and you must round your answers off to the proper number of significant figures.
Example: Molarity, M, is defined as the number of moles of solute per Liter of solution. The equation for Molarity is: M = mol/L. Ex. Calculate molarity of 352 mL of solution that contains 74.31 g of NaOH. (Show calculations and give your answer.)
2) Your second heading should be: Phase Diagrams. Give a brief description of what a phase diagram is and paste (from your source) the phase diagram for water. Label it using appropriate caption style (figure caption, APA style). Be sure to cite your source.
3) Include the References heading and, using APA style, list your sources. Please note that instead of using electronic resources, you may use your textbook (any college-level General Chemistry textbook) to gather all the information.
