Exotic Smokes Cigarettes identified its new packaging with vibrant colors to target younger smokers. It has already been determined that flavored cigarettes are highly used by teens and young adults. Exotic Smokes Cigarettes plans to use models (men and women) at local night clubs, liquor stores, and other places frequented by young adults. These models’ role is to give free samples of the product along with coupons and talk to smokers about places they can purchase products.

Secondly, Exotic Smokes Cigarettes plans to hire territory reps that will frequent the distributor locations giving them vibrant posters and other pop up stands that will grab the attention of the smokers when they come in the store. These same popups will look similar to the ads that will run in local magazines. Exotic Smokes Cigarettes wants the brand to be recognizable on many levels, so these will all come together to help encourage or initiate the smoker’s decision to purchase the new flavored products.

Lastly, plans to attract young smokers through Facebook ads that will be included in the marketing strategy. We can track those consumers who are looking at other smoke companies and promote the new flavors through this social media site as well as offer free or discounted coupons for LIKES or Shares. TRIAAD Research Group recommends this strategy because it will put the new flavored cigarette products in front of the young consumer.
