One striking example on a person who affected my life and organizational behavior most is the Administrator of the school where I worked as a nutritionist teacher and nutritionist in clinical one years ago. Her effective leadership makes the work environment positive, and elevates the productive spirit of the school's teachers. As an effective leader, she has many qualities that share in shaping her effective leadership.

First of all she proves an interest in improving the organization as a whole, apart from any personal gains or interests. She also concerns herself with the human side of the teachers and the students as well, in addition to her other academic concerns. For this particular reason, she is well respected by others. She never makes one-sided decisions, and keeps always asking others to participate in her decision-making process; thus building the self-confidence of the employees. I find this to be an essential quality of the successful leader.

She talks plainly and elegantly to others, and listens carefully to them and to their inquiries. She negotiates others' needs, and participates in their personal occasions when possible. She urges others to think, and encourage them to be innovative. She never gets enraged when being criticized for any reason, and positively discusses the probability of having any personal shortcomings. Additionally, she pays much attention to whatever opinion concerning the development of the work environment, and works herself on improving it.

Decision taking for her is a careful and systematic process. She successfully relies on brainstorming, and effectively makes use of the ideas and suggestions of the target people. She carefully reads their feed-back, and is well aware of that the success of the organization depends essentially on the development and reinforcement of the employees. She emphasizes the idea that every single person in the organization, whether a teacher or a student, is a potential, and that group-work is the most effective way by which the organization can achieve its objectives, grow, develop and prosper.

One effective quality of her is that of reward system. She appreciates the innovative thought, allowing it to grow and mature. She never overlooks others' activities, and keeps a monitor-eye on their work and achievement. She never hesitates to praise others' good achievement, and tend to praise them in public. She pays a considerable attention to the psychological state and need of others. She always feels that she is directly responsible for others' wellbeing.

Lastly my boss considers work as a useful entertainment, and makes us feel that we are entertaining ourselves even while working under pressure. This makes us achieve even in the work's harder situations. She treats the hard situations quietly and effectively, and without any degree of rashness. To this and to the other aforementioned qualities, I feel that she influenced me positively; making me believe that there would be no better leader than her.
