To be able to live such a life requires having the basics covered and then some..." Some of the questions you can try answering are:

What do people actually need or want? What's wrong with dreaming or hoping to achieve 'luxury', material wealth?

What can ads do to young minds? Discuss some of the positive and/or negative effects and present your reasons clearly.

Should advertising 'brainwash' consumers to need, be, believe, want, dream and use a certain product? This may be your conclusion and connect back to the quote that looks at 'luxury vs. basics' and the idea of 'possibility'.

The effects of advertising

The definition of abundance is people who have economic capability be able to care for family. Almost people who don’t need luxury, such as sports car, villadom, famous bag and clothes. People really don’t care how much money they earn, how many house they have. People really want sense of security or feeling. If some goods that can make them feeling good, people is contented even if the goods are cheap. Lots of people like to living with family, they can do all the things together, and they enjoy like this.

What is people dreaming and hoping. Maybe have a good job, and earn enough money let people can buy somethings or do somethings. However, when people have lots of things, what is people dreaming. In this time, people will pursue luxury. As we know luxury represent money, position, and ability. Does expensive goods are luxury? I disagree, i think luxury depend on everyone, if you are rich, sports car is luxury, more than 10 bad are luxury, more than 3 villadom are luxury. But for poor people, maybe a new clothes is luxury, have one bicycle is luxury. So i think if the price of the goods is over your income, or you feel burdened when you buy something that can call luxury. Advertising know every consumer think about, so we can see a lot of advertising, also have different price, because the product use advertisement to introduce to different consumer. When people saw the advertisement, after they consider the goods and decision buy or not buy.

As a consumer, we should keeping clam in anytime, we see some product is very interesting, the function is unbelievable, the product can do anything that people can’t. In fact, all of feature by animation effect. we will find it can’t do many thing that we saw in advertisement. So, consumer should think for long time about the product that you never buy it or not really understand, especially for luxury, we should know what product is luxury for us, because everyone have different income, then the luxury are different.
