Below is a picture of the coordinate plane. Points that appear on this plane are defined by their corresponding positions on the x-axis and y-axis. The position of any point is defined in the following format:
(x,y)
where x is x-coordinate (the corresponding position on the x-axis), and y is the y-coordinate (the corresponding position on the y-axis). The origin itself is defined as point (0,0).
