Value Chain Analysis
Use this template for your paper. READ everything in red but delete it as you go. Keep and use all items in Black and add to the paper. The main purpose of this assignment is for you to identify and analyze elements of the value chain and demonstrate your understanding of how they must interact to create value for the organization. The intent is for you to review the present, or relatively recent value chain of Amazon.com. Be sure to consider that the past reputation of a company may not be true today. In this first paragraph, introduce the purpose of this paper. This first paragraph is an introduction … and when we use APA we do not add a section header called introduction as it is assumed that the first paragraph after the main header is the introduction. This paper should be at least ten pages but not more than twelve pages, not including the title and reference page. It is important to be thorough and succinct when addressing all of the assignment’s requirements.

REMEMBER
· When you write an academic report, do NOT string together direct quotes to form the narrative. Include only a very few direct quotes in the report. Translate the information you find into your own words and provide a reference citation for every statement of fact you present in the report. More than three brief direct quotes will be too many for this paper.
· Be very detailed. This paper requires inclusion of data and information from scholarly journals for objective analysis of the company. Be precise and specific and provide details for your analysis. Be sure to include performance data to support your analyses. Such data is found in business journals, Fortune Magazine's industry editions, Datamonitor.com, Business Week, and other such sources.
· Do not cut and paste ANYTHING from reference sources without applying quote marks and a complete citation. * Avoid using the pronouns: you, your, we, our, and us in academic writing. The reader may not wish to be involved in the report topic or the ideas presented
