Question 1
There are six major steps that a person should go through when preparing an effective outline for a presentation. The first stage is outlining the objectives. This is important because the person identifies what the presentation is all about and the main purpose of the presentation. The second stage of the presentation is to come up with the audience profile. This will help the presenter to know how to make the presentation and what the audience is expecting to hear. Stage three is to come up with an outline. This stage is important because it helps a presenter to have a flow of main points of presentation. The presentation will also look organized (Ober, 2008).
The fourth stage is to add flavor to the presentation. This will depend with the audience. Flavor helps in attracting the attention of the viewers. The fifth stage is to develop an opening and conclusion. The introduction is important because it will help catch the attention of the listeners. It will help them have an overview of what the presentation is about. Conclusion is equally important. It reminds the audience of the main points of the presentation. It also helps the presenter to leave a lasting impression on the audience about the quality of the presentation. The last stage is reviewing the presentation. Once the presentation is written, the person making the presentation should ensure that they review it and check whether it meets the expected objective and whether it is the correct target for the audience. This stage is important because the presenter will also familiarize him or herself about the main points of the presentation (Ober, 2008).

Question 2
Before a business presentation is made there are various tasks that the presenter should carry out for a business presentation to be successful. The first task is to be prepared. The presenter should be fully prepared to give the presentation. The presenter should ensure that he or she has followed the six main stages of preparing the presentation. This is stage is important because it shows that the presenter was prepared and ready to give the presentation. The second task is to stay relaxed. Anxiety is not good when giving a preparation. The presenter should be relaxed in order to ensure that they present well and the audience fully understands what the presentation is all about. The third task is to use natural humor. This is important when presenting because it will catch the attention of the audience. The audience will be attentive in order to hear what the presenter is talking about (Guffey, & Loewy, 2010).
The fourth task is to pay attention to all details of the presentation. The presenter should make sure that they are in the correct place at the correct time. They should be fully prepared such that once called to make the presentation, there will be no hesitations. The other task is to ensure that body and hand positions are well planned. This happens during practice. The speaker should know which gestures to use and at what particular time. They should also stand in the right position which will give everyone a good view of the presentation and the speaker (Guffey, & Loewy, 2010). The last rehearse, and rehearse even more. This will help the presenter to be very familiar with what they will be presenting and also what they have to say. When the audience asks a question, the presenter should be able to reply those questions without any hesitation. This will make the presentation successful because the presenter was fully prepared.
