A series of 4 questions, at least 200 words for each of them.

This is a series of 4 questions. Each question has to have a minimum of 200 words at least and my book must be used as one of the references. APA formatting is required with in text citations and references. No plagiarism, This professor is a stickler for that, she really watches for it apparently. This needs to be done by Wed. 04/02/14 by 11:00 P.M Eastern Time.

My book is: Patterson, T. (2013). The American democracy (11th ed.). New York, NY: McGraw-Hill, Inc.

1. Discuss the structure and role of party organizations. Mention each level of party organization—local, state, and national—including what the function is of each in modern politics. ( 200 words at least)

2. Describe how public opinion is measured in the United States and the problems that can arise as a result of this measurement. Also discuss how public opinion can influence government policy. Cite a specific example. (200 words at least)

3. How does our current party system impact elections? How can a minor party play a part in an election? (200 words at least)

4. Do you feel that it is important that every person that is legally allowed to vote does so? Why or why not? Do you feel that it is easy for most people to go and vote? Why or why not? Describe some common trends that keep people from voting. Describe other methods besides voting that people can use to participate in the political process. Have you every participated in any of these methods? If so, what did you do? ( 200 words at least)

On this particular question, I just want to say because our discussion board this week we discussed this somewhat--it basically ask us our opinion on what we thought about being fined if you chose not to vote and while I think its important to vote, I stated that I don't feel like a person should be made to vote that should be their choice rather they want to or not.
