Title of Your Essay

Your essay on a courageous person you have known begins here. As announced, you should have your thesis statement (main point) in the first paragraph. While the directions call for three paragraphs, you may create a fuller introduction and end with a summing-up concluding paragraph if you wish. One or more body paragraphs should detail how the person is or was courageous. You can look to their words, actions, and overall manner. Do not use outside sources; this is not a research paper.

Be sure to indent each paragraph by one tab; the tab default is set for you. Your final essay should be at least 350 words long. See the model within Unit 3; another copy is in our Doc Sharing.
