Project Description: In this project, you will merge two workbooks together. After making some changes to the merged workbook, you will then accept or reject the changes made by each of the two authors. You will then remove the workbook from sharing, mark the workbook as final, and add your digital signature.
Instructions: For the purpose of grading the project you are required to perform the following tasks: Step Instructions Points Possible 1 Start Excel. Download, save, and open the workbook named Exploring_e10_Grader_EOC.xlsx. 0 2 In the document properties, add Exploring Excel Student as a second author and Proposed House Costs as the title. Change the user name for Excel to Exploring Excel Student. 8 3 Add the Compare and Merge Workbooks button to the Quick Access Toolbar. Compare and merge the downloaded Excel file named Exploring_e10_Grader_EOC_to_merge into your open workbook. In the merged workbook, delete the Trees row from the worksheet. Change the Fence value in to $2,735.80, and then save the workbook. 8 4 Activate the Track Changes feature so that all changes by all users are highlighted on the screen. List all changes on a new sheet. Display the Select Changes to Accept or Reject dialog box and deselect all check boxes. Accept your change to the value in cell B20 from $2,800 to $2,735.80.DONE 8 9 Correct the formula in cell B15 so that it sums all interior upgrades. 10 10 Correct the formula in cell B22 so that it sums all exterior upgrades. 10 11 In cell B15, insert the comment Additional upgrades will increase the cost. (include the period). 10 12 Turn off workbook sharing and mark the workbook as final. 10 13 Create a digital certificate using the name Exploring Excel Student. Add a digital signature to your workbook using the certificate you create with To verify the sender as the purpose. 10 14 Save the workbook. Close the workbook and then exit Excel.
