Introduction
I believe that through art, we can effect a positive change in the world. Art involves most of the activities that people opt to spend their leisure time on during leisure. Hence, its factual to say that one cannot entirely avoid art. Dancing,theater, drawings and films are some of the many art works that create a resources base for our leisure time. Through a stage performance, an author can insipire their audience in a positive way. In theater auditoriums, different types of people meet and spend quality time together during which, they are bound to interact (Gunderson). Through interaction, we learn about different cultures and importantly appreciate them reducing the animosity caused by cross-culture communication. Evidently, through art an artist can be able to share a vision of changing the world to the world in a short time frame (Durvernoi 2).
Ted’s video on how art can turn the world upside down
This is the greatest way that Ted could have used to let the world know of the impact that art has in the world. He is a talented painter and a photographer. He paints on street walls but the story is not about what he paints but rather, what his paintings communicate to the world. A remarkable incident is the paintings of three children who were killed by the army. The fact that the painting was in the streets it haunted the consious of every person who one way or another have commited a related act and make them regret their actions. This painting probably also made someone who planing to commit a similar act change their mind. The strength of this painting is how it communicated to a lot of the people in a short span of time. It was possible because it was visible to the millions of people walking on that street. Upon media coverage, the same paintings communicated globally to the people watching the news. Surely art is the best suited antidote for healing the universe. A lot of have seen the artistic works of Ted, many of them have connected with his message while others have understood in their own way but most importantly, through art, Ted has utilized art into a healing factor to the world (Durvernoi 3).
How late Michael Jackson used art to change the world
The late Michael Jackson was a renowned and talented artist. He was mostly famous for his pop music. However he was also a painter and an actor. His artistic works had numerous effects on his audience since he was a depth artist. Therefore, his audience easly connected to his persona especially in the songs. His song tittled heal the world is one of his best work. Music is one appreciated artistic work. People prefer to listen to music when they are bored, when they are frustrate and also when tired. On the other hand, people also listen to music when they are happy and relaxed. Therefore, music can be termed as a unifying factor in the human anatomy. It can either be the melody or the message that sooths the listener.
Michael’s music
The type of music that we listen to therefore, has a great impact on the thoughts that run in our mind after listening to them. As we know, it is this thoughts that dictate our actions. Michael Jackson’s heal the world is a song that creates the sense of a unified world. When listening to it, one cannot help visualising how great a harmonised world can be. The song emphasizes on charity. It would be no wonder for someone listening to this song and then they come across a street child to be influenced by the lyrics to help the street child (Gunderson 4). Through his music, people can be influenced to spread love in the world and indeed make it a better place.
Dance
Obesity is an issue of concern in the world today. People suffering from obesity and other overweight relate problems tend to develop a reduced self estem. Violence has many times been associate with low esteem. Dances can help reduces obesity cases as it is a physical exercise. Michael Jackson was one artist who has influenced the dance industry enormously with his dance moves especially the moon walk. Most teenagers cannot overcome the urge to join in his dances when watching his dance video.
Physical exercises is a medical recommendation for people suffering from obesity. It helps in burning of calories and an eventual reduction in the body metabolic index (Gunderson 6). An inch in reduction of weght for an obese person sends a positive signal to their mind. With a positive view of life these people are likely to be polite and kind. Besides that, dances has been known to bring people together.This are ways trhough which we can heal the world. Through his dance, Jackson has contribute enormously to changing the world
Drawings
There is a part of Michael jackson that most people do not known, atleast not before he left us. Michael was great at drawing. He had an exclusive studio where he stored his drawings (Durvernoi 8). When the world learnt of his drawings, many people have traveled from all over the world in order to purchase the drawings. There are some drawings which are of his image. Someone having a portrait of his image is likely to be reminded of Jacksons great woks and achievements. For those who looked upon him as a mentor, it will be a source of motivation every time they look at the portrait.
Conclusion
Nothing can be better in the world of economics than motivated personnels. Through the portraits whose existance was enabled by Jackson’s art of drawing, people can draw inspiration to run the world. Michael Jackson was and is also seen as a unifying factor between the black peolpe and the white. The racial animosity between the two races has injured the world for a long time. Having his drawings in stores,exhibition grounds and entertainment houses will always remind us that we are all one people.
