Conclusion
God created the entire earth for it to be inhabited as stated in the bible. There are different facts from the bible that prove the importance of the entire nature and the need of keeping it protected and safe. Among the different gifts the God gave to humankind, nature is included in them. Everyone on earth has a duty of protecting nature and everything that is on earth since destroying it may leave unhealthy nature for the future generations (Darwin 12). Sociologists, ecologist and other different types of scientists have had been supporting the need of ensuring that nature is preserved and well protected. Christians have a duty to prevent such occurrences. They have the duty of ensuring that every individual on earth is taking care of the environment around them.
Nature has been destroyed to a large extent by different human activities. Though it is the duty of everyone to preserve the environment, it has never been thought to be the duty of Christians to also preserve nature. Religions have never been thought to be concerned about the environment or nature but in the current world people are becoming more aware of Christians preserving nature and the entire environment. The major issue is how to make Christians understand the different concepts of environmental protection (Darwin 24). Christians should make sure that they have the necessary knowledge on the right ways of protecting the environment. There are different questions that may arise from the issue of Christians getting involved in nature protection. The main question is whether it is the duty of the Christian community to take good care of nature and the necessary actions and steps that a Christian needs to take in order to protect nature. There is need for specific action that the Christian community should take with regard to the environment, its preservation and restoration (Fiedler 34).
