Traditional schooling is all about the stereotypical, conventional, customary related or can be said as the basics linking with past education system. The traditional educational system refers to the lengthy established objectives that the society offers. The topic under discussion that traditional education is not a community is very right. I second with the topic because the conventional or customary way of teaching or educational system is not a community but a number of communities. Pick a country or a state or even seeing the thing working on a small scale take a city or a district. You will witness that traditional education is everywhere. Customary ethics of education are seeing everywhere because this is the very first system that society introduced to bring about reforms and transformations in the vary society. The same traditional education system has refined and makes the society people appropriate enough to stand out in the world. The same world is a constitution of the same traditional way of education that now has become a taboo for the world. Teacher students relationships are enhanced and more educational practices are progressed in the traditional way of education. Students in a traditional way of education are matched according to their age groups. This grouping constitutes them to make a community for the time being. The same community when enlarged time to time according to the abilities and personal skills then further makes a team. That team then becomes a nation building authority. Here it can be said that traditional education is a way to constitute a community but this community is not alone. Conventional way of education or school system is a way to construct such communities that are the power of the nation and country itself. The community of traditional way of school is a discovery to wisdom.

Dewey states in Chapter 4 that a traditional school is not a community. The definition for a school community that I researched is, “both a set of partnerships and a place where services, supports, and opportunities lead to improved student learning, stronger families, and healthier communities.” Dewey also states that instead of having the teacher in a classroom be the “head” of the class and what they say goes, they are more of just the leader of the group. On page 61 he states, “ The educator is responsible for a knowledge of individuals and for a knowledge if subject-matter that will enable activities to be selected which lend themselves to social organization,.” Progressive schools are moving toward a community aspect where students have more of an opportunity to share their opinions about what they would like to learn and work on in their classroom.
I agree with this statement about how traditional schools are not a community, and having this community feel in a classroom I think is important. I went to an alternative elementary school, which worked very much around this community aspect. The students called their teachers by their first names and had control of their own learning environment by not having desk and deciding if they wanted to work at a table or on the floor. I believe this school taught me that teachers are there to lead you, but not always to tell you what is the right or wrong way to do things. I think Dewey is definitely going in the right direction with this chapter.

Traditional school gives knowledge and confirms that saves students to know and alsoThe relationship between the traditional school and the community was only on the students and the level of education . it disconnects students from communicating with the community. On the other side ,If we look at the history of peoples knowing how traditional school succeeded in their lives , such as the Babylonian civilization , Egyptian, Chinese, Phoenician , where she referred to the masterpieces of the new thought , the Athenians looked evolution intellectual , and cared for breeding rights, and made education hum first , where drove Athens elite professors of the human mind and philosophers immortals .
