Density QLP Module 1B
In this section of the QLP module, you will prepare a table using the data below. This table should have a title, column headings with the appropriate units, and contain three columns displaying the mass percent of HCl in the solutions, the density of the solution (in g/mL) at 20.0°C, and the density of the solution (in g/mL) at 40.0°C.

You will obviously need to perform some calculations and conversions before preparing your table. In order to calculate the mass percent of HCl in the solution, the following formula should be used:
Once you are ready, prepare your table using any word processing software following the instructions given above. You will use the data to prepare a graph of density (yaxis) as a function of mass percent of HCl (xaxis) for the two temperatures (i.e., 20.0°C and 40.0°C). You must provide a title for the graph, label each axes appropriately, and have a legend to indicate the trend observed at each temperature. If necessary, modify the scale for both axes so that the graph occupies at least 80% of the frame.
You will need to generate the equation for the best fit (i.e., linear regression) at both temperatures. Using these

equations, determine the density of the HCl solutions at 20.0°C and 40.0°C for a 28% by mass solution of HCl. Use these values to determine by how much does the density change at these two temperatures. Include these calculations in your assignment.
