Project#1- Multiple Regression – Outline
Step 1
Select a sample of 35 to 45 random homes from the data set. You can do it manually.
Provide the following:
Step 2
1. Specify the regression model.
2. Identify the independent and dependent variables.
3. Explain your regression model in your own words.
4. Explain the basic assumptions in regression model in your words.
Step 3
5. Find the descriptive statistic of all the variables.
6. Graphs (Histogram with normal curve, Stem-leaf and Q-Q plot).
7. Interpret the major findings (in tasks# 5 and 6).
Step 4
8. Conduct the correlation analysis, with SPSS.
9. Explain the findings of correlation analysis.
Step 5
10. Conduct the multiple regression analysis with SPSS.
11. Explain the findings of the regression analysis.
12. Conduct one forecast for a set of independent variables and find the residual.
13. Conduct hypothesis testing for the slopes any two independent variables.
Step 6
14. Draw conclusions from your analysis.
Step 7
15. Write a report with all the findings, following the format given below.
Report Format
