I do not really have eating habit, because I eat everything that I think is delicious. After I did the survey, I found out that I seldom think about where the food I eat comes from and how those animals are treated when they were alive. I think the two questions above are really things we need to consider, because it related to our heath. I remembered that I got an flyer in our campus and it is about how pig and chicken are treated in farm. From this flyer, I knew that the environment that those pig and chicken grow up is really awful and this flyer tells me that those product made from those pig and chicken will directly affect the people, who eat then. I think the question I have for American food industry is "Why you can ignore your clients' health? Do you only care about how much money you make? " and "What people can do to change the growing environment that our food lives in (not only for animal, but also for plants)? "

I do care about what do I eat. I know that a lot of American food is quite unhealthy, like MacDonald of KFC. These fast food is not healthy is not only because the way they are cooked, but also for the food source of these ingredients. Since the price of the nuggets and burger is cheap, these chicken come from big food factory and fed in a immoral way. I tried to keep away from these junk food, and eat more vegetables everyday. To be honest, I don't really cook by myself, because I am a international student and live by myself. When I am in a exam period, I don't have time at all, and I don't know how to cook. When I go out I would choose Chipoltee which have more vegetables and looks more healthy; however,I don't know it is really more healthy or not.

My eating habits are actually pretty much the same as Yue Wangs as in i really have little care what I eat. My only concerns are if it tastes good or not. I thing the only thing about what I have to know about my food before I eat it is exactly what it is I am eating. I know of some crazy foods out there that are made from certain disgusting parts of animals. As long as I know what I am eating and it tastes good however, it does not bother me what I eat. The question i would have for the American Food industry would be "Do you think you can try to make more healthier foods for those who care for it while still retaining the same delicious foods that those who don't care can enjoy?

I try to stay away from junk foods or fast foods, I don't really care much for where the food came from when I go to grocery stores as long asit's good parts of the animal and I choose riper produces. I do careabout the living standards of the animal when it was being raised justfor health reasons, I wouldn't want to catch any diseases and I alsocare about what the animal was, I'm not to keen on eating rat. Fordrinks I don't mind what I drink, but I try to stay away fromcaffeinated and high sugar type drinks, doesn't sit well with mystomach. The question I would ask the American food industry is if theycould lower the prices without sacrificing the quality of the product?

With the overabundance of packaged foods commonly known as ‘ TV dinners’ on our supermarket and convenient store shelves and fridges and a fast food joint at every other corner, gourmet cooking let alone knowing where the tomato found on my hamburger came from are issues that will hardly cross my mind I am either shuttling from class to the library or work or to practice for a school activity of one kind or another, so taking the time to dismantle that which I am eating proves a cumbersome task and I subconsciously relegate it to the back of my mind and do what I call “mechanical refueling” just enough food to get me to the next stop of a usually high charged life. Having taken this survey I am more alive to the fact that I need to know what gets into my body, I might not do it all the time but I will most certainly make a conscious effort from now on.
