Remember how the inner circle represents your own personal ideas about the concept of ethics and how that influences what you do? This is the area where you develop your own ethical foundation. Your readings in Chapters 13, 14, and 15 should be especially helpful to you in this area. Chapter 13 is about moral integrity and what it means to you as an administrator, Chapter 14 contains information about codes of ethics and their impact on administrative practice, and Chapter 15 describes issues that relate to the day-to-day ethical practices of a health care administrator.
