For Section 4 of the Final Project you will create a guide for these areas that nonprofit boards and executive directors can use to maximize their chances for success.

Section 4 should include:

• Strategic Thinking and Planning
• Communications
• Outreach

Explain the role of strategic thinking and planning in carrying out the organization’s vision and mission. Explain the elements of the strategic thinking and planning process. Include the role of the board in developing the strategic plan. Detail the communications and outreach role that the board can play in both implementing the strategic plan and attaining organizational goals and objectives.

Submit the draft of Final Project Section 4 for scholarly writing faculty review. Your draft should be 3–5 pages, contain a minimum of 5–6 specific, evidence-based best practices, and utilize proper APA formatting.
