writing short eassy

Hi,

choose song, ( perfect ed sheeran ) or ( i love you for a thousand year christina perri) or any good song,

Take the five figures from the songs you picked out. You should have them
broken down into image, abstraction, and transferable qualities. From this, I
want you to craft a short essay explaining each figure. Take care to explain
what each figure is (metaphor, hyperbole, etc...) and what each of it's core
components are. See if you can explain why the songwriter chose that particular
figure...how does it help us understand what's going on within the context of
the song?
