Please read the article "After the Genocide" by Philip Gourevitch published in the New Yorker shortly after the end of the Rwandan Genocide，which is in the attachment.

Response Requirements: 

l. Response must be two pages in length. 

2. Response should have a clear Introduction, 

Summary, Analysis, and Conclusion. 

    a. Introduction： state the title of the article, the author's name, and the date of publication, outline the main ideas of the book and identify the author's main point; state your own thesis and your main idea.

     b. Summary： briefly outline the main ideas of the article; should involve who, what, where, when, why, and how 

     c. Analysis： critically state what you like or dislike about the article; explain the ideas with specific examples from the article; assess whether the author achieved their goal/properly informed the readers 

     d. Conclusion： Summarize your points, whether you think this was a good article, what you learned from it, etc.
