Writing assignment #1 - Assignment Sheet

Writing assignment #1 is to write a 1200-1500 word biography on a physicist who did seminal work contributing to the revolution in physics in the first half of the 20th century. Assume that you are writing for an IUP college senior with a well-rounded background and good education, but not necessarily scientifically literate. You are to explain the cultural and scientific background that the person was born into, their scientific achievement, and why that scientific achievement is important.
