writing a summary

First, read the attachment:

a) Chapter 7 (about phylogenetic analysis)

Then, 

b) Write a brief (up to 1 page) summary with 5 (five) highlights that you learned. Make sure to cite your sources, for example,

"In chapter 2 I learned that  (i) XYZ, and (ii) ABC...".

I need explanation for each point.
