Writing a Business Memo

Write a minimum 700-word business memo as a member of the training department for your organization to the Director of Training and Development about the need to implement a social learning component for employees. Describe the significance of this approach, and discuss the following as you consider creating content: 

• Define social learning. Describe how it is related to but different from formal training.
• Describe the goals that could be achieved through social learning that otherwise would not be achieved within the organization.
• Discuss the benefits of social learning.
• Include an overview of some tools that might be used.
• Set the expectation for how such a program might be introduced to the workforce, along with timing for success.
