My Title: College Students Depression

Your first more formal written assignment will be a business-style memo where you let me know what you plan to write about, why you think it’s important, and what is already being said about your topic.

1. What is your intended research topic?
2. Why do you think topic is significant?
3. What are the 2 or 3 disciplinary perspectives you think you will need to use to explore the topic?

Your memo should follow the format specified in this unit’s readings. It should include a memo-style heading; strong, direct intro paragraph where you introduce your idea; a body of 2-3 paragraphs where you develop points #2 and #3; and a conclusion where you tell us what your next steps are.

Be sure to make use of the conventions of the memo format, including sub-headings, bullet lists, and short paragraphs.

As a professional document, it should be clear, concise, and free from errors. It must be at least 250 words but no more than 350 words.
