Re-read your rough draft of story #2. Be sure it has an ending. Now, no matter how much you like the ending you gave it, write 5 new possible endings. At least a paragraph for each ending.

The one stipulation: these new endings should all be believable, consistent with characters, and credible resolutions to the plot. Otherwise, get wild! Be imaginative. Sometimes we think of the most predictable ending, but life is rarely like that. Life more often offers us surprises, twists in the road we never would have foreseen.
