Read They Say/I Say Chapters 1 & 2 for class. Please work the first exercise at the end of Chapter 2, bottom of page 40: "to get a feel for Peter Elbow's 'believing game'". In this exercise, you write about the same topic from different points of view: if you've really represented both views fairly, no one will be able to tell which you actually think or believe.

Feel free to write on any subject you like--or to follow in Cobb's or Marantz's footsteps and write on their subjects.
